Forest Darkness

When the sun drowns into the mountains

The glowworms and fireflies shine

The insects start to prick our ears

With their joy, excitement, and whine.

The pitch of darkness getting darker and darker

With every stone stepped and every tree passed

Each soul in the forest just wandering wondering

How long this beautiful night will last

This darkness comes with tranquility

But also absolute danger and thrill

It hugs each being going into it

And treats them with its beauty still
