Flashback Year 2020...

This is the story of a dreadful year

And the most ghastly guy was here

Our minds and hearts shook like a leaf

As lakhs and lakhs got slaughtered like beef

He was named Corona for he had a crown

To fight him, all doctors marched out of the town

The defeat was horrible without any vaccine until now

And the fear of this brawny caged whole world in lockdown

The slope of the economy blew such a way

That panic-stricken big-shop owners are selling veggies on the way

This dark tunnel of suffering has got social distancing as a ray

So, online skyrockets and offline workers drown in the bay

Children bounced with joy as they thought of it as a boon

As classes were online and they no more had schools

Bunking classes, missing lectures, and having lots of fun

By saying that they had "internet problems"

Cheating became a trend as many couldn't study

For getting zero by honesty they weren't ready

Sitting at home about doing nothing many became obese

and misled by social media many grew up before their age

This sudden digitization brought traumas to many

Many poor people struggled for a single penny

Life became lonely due to the death of our dears

And nature also showed all its colors in a single year

With all tragedies that took place

The year came to end and brought a new hope

That everything will again be back to normal by god's grace….

That growth will gain pace and new normal will bring a shine on everyone's face… :)
