Where am I?

Oh, the world looks all sugar and nice,

Because well the filters cannot capture what is otherwise.

Looking at the pictures of pretty smiles,

Makes her feel that she is losing out on life.

But she has forgotten that in the filtered world,

What makes her standout is her as an unfiltered version.

Not pretending to be someone, but being the real her,

She choses to be herself than chosing to be the other.

In the race that tries to show that one is better than the other,

She chooses the path untaken

She walks out of the race, to be herself,

When everyone else is enjoying just being the 'other'.
