Feel Lost In Time

There was a time when neighbours were close as family,

And families were close yet extend.

We had time for family and had fun with friends.

Whatever we had was more than enough,

Because hearts were pure and full of love.

They came together when time was tough.

Shared happiness and sorrows with tons of love.

Now when I see, families they feel like neighbours,

And neighbours are as good as strangers.

God knows what changed now from then,

People became no one, who once were friends.

We don't get time to ask how are you,

Still we: say we care and think about you.

We still are humans with less humanly touch.

Leading to a path of nowhere and destroying so much.

I hope I could turn back the time.

Feel those emotions and live those moments again.

I wish I could cast a spell and make everything as beautiful as it was back then.
