Farewell
Farewell
Tried to refrain the insurmountable end,
For I had new toys to play with, collect money I had lend.
To cash my gold teeth, and to revel before I die.
I ordered the inevitable, asked death to stand by.
With an unforgettable grin demise came forth.
To show me the power I don't bestow.
My anger took me over and I grabbed the spear.
The next moment I realized I was nowhere near.
Then to the mighty beast I begged.
For the time that I though I always had.
Down on my knees, please lend me some time,
So I could pack some money, some lamb and wine.
Defection accompanied with what the beast had to tell.
For nothing other than sorrow can be carried to hell.
There was nothing I could do that I perceived.
Accepted it picked a pen wrote a note that I can leave.
The note.
Saving the savory of life for a subsequent state?
Well demised doesn't roar or believe in fate.
Its delinquent yet delectable fray your soul,
Adieu souvenirs don't come in silver plates.
