Farewell
Farewell
Finally here is the day
And I stand here with something to say
This moment is full of emotions
Because you all exit a world and not just a portion.
This journey started 3 years back
But It’s time to put the weights back in the rack.
It’s True that everyone has to leave
And respect is what I have to give
To all of you
Who stepped in as a rookie
And step out as a pro.
This campus is not just a property today
It is the home to thousands of stories
and millions of memories.
First day here is what I call spring
New people new minds and a lot to take with
But it’s autumn again
And this tree must shed off some leaves
But these leaves are not dead
They are more alive than ever
They are now nourished
They are now ready to compete
Because this is what it was meant to be
A human, better and complete.
With a heavy stone on my heart
I bid farewell to all of you
Dusk has finally arrived
And the sun must set
A new morning must come
A new sun must rise.
I find myself fortunate enough to address you all
For one last time
And forever in my heart
This view is inscribed.
