Evening Walk
Evening Walk
Endless paths stretch out before me,
Strolling alone in the evening hours bring constant joy,
Sometimes it’s the trees, the breeze, or the people,
Whom I encounter along my journey.
My trails are adorned with trees and bushes.
Granting me a refreshing mind all the time.
Some were adorned with long hair, others short, and a few bald,
Each of them painted a beautiful smile upon me.
Haunted by past, painful memories,
Always gave a hardcore pain in my heart,
Then the whispering wind from unseen realms caresses me gently,
Sweeping away the pain and replacing it with a radiant smile.
Besides me, only my faithful shadow resides,
Until a sweet, tiny greeting emerges from a balcony,
Waving with little hands filled with innocence,
Took away my loneliness and replaced it with an even brighter smile.
