Endless Desires

The gaping holes in the old blanket 
Reminds me the days spent with you Nani maa
In your childhood 
When people were honest
And money didn't have much value. 
 

The shivering cold night 
When it came 
All siblings lay in the same blanket 
But they were happy.

What a fabulous time it was 
All ate in one plate and 
Though the food was not enough 
But all of u were satisfied 
Not you all had many desires

 
But today we are one or two 
Having sufficient meals 
Having quilts to fight with cold 
But we are not satisfied because 
We now a days only have endless desires.......
