She danced around the house,

Jumping, skipping and twirling

Catching her reflection in the mirror;

And laughing at the smile on her face,

Wider than ever before.


The days seemed less gloomy,

The air less suffocating,

The world a beautiful happy place.

The most boring idlis,

Now the yummiest ever.


And the torturous writer's block fading away;

As she picked up her pen again.

All because of a

"How are you?"

In place of the usual

"Who are you?"

She'd now come to expect.
