Dumbfound

Dumbfound

Sparkling blue water and astonishing greenery all around,

Nowhere in the universe such environment is to be found.

For billions of years, with pride she wore her crown.

Earth who always smiled and giggled now wears a frown,

Like a ball room gown,

In the crowd full of cities and towns,

Princess Earth, about to have a nervous breakdown.

There are more CFC emitting machines and no playground.

Humans used her natural resources for some dollars and pounds.

She wanted to swim but the plastics and the garbage in the ocean, only made her drown.

All the other planets laugh at her, and she feels like a clown.

Shattered! She shouted aloud, but no one heard a sound.

Married to global warming,

Motherly love of earth for humans is dumbfound.
