And throw the shattered remains of that burning star

Throw those glowing embers into the crevices of my heart

There are cracks there, and maybe the fiery remains of something from so far

Could heal the wounds, melting together that which had been torn apart.

And keep the glittering dust of your hopes and dreams

Keep them, sweep them up into the seams
