Down the memory lane, I realized the value of something that I’ve lost;
I regret, I cry, I wince in pain of course at my own cost.
In my tough time I need a shoulder to cry on and few comforting hugs;
But to my misfortune my own people have swept me under the rugs.
“Stop crying over spilt milk.” is something I’ve always learnt;
But it aches when your dreams are shattered, your career is burnt.
Taking a decision and regretting is something I resist;
I know I’ll just be adding up more agony to the list.
Down the memory lane, I realize the value of something I’ve lost.
Pain has taken over me now; I am gone for a complete toss.
