Do Not Disturb

Do Not Disturb

Do not disturb, for I am in search of stories.

Disturb me and I'll initiate a conversation

And rip your soul apart with the deepest of scars

And the saddest of laughs.

Disturb me and I'll expose that tear in your eye

Behind that crooked smile trying to be a game.

Yes, try disturbing and you'll wish you'd never met me

Because now you've poured all your emotions

Like the water in a tap I left accidentally open.

So better, do not disturb,

For now that I am alone and reading in the corner.
