Divine Colours
Divine Colours
Sitting in the temple, eyes on the God
The silence, meditative, no other thought
Cool breeze at the dawn of the winter morning
Just touches me like a feather on its way while soaring
The breeze calms me and soothes my mood
However, something keeps distracting me from the woods
I just tilt my head and look around
There are those high trees from the moist ground
Totally covered by bunch and bunch of flowers
Violet, yellow, red and lilac; Oh god...with so many other colours
My mind is now off the meditative state
And is now wandering amidst the colours with a swift skate
This is a standstill state and rejects even a slight move
Mind is locked in the paradise just found
Prayers are over and all the legs have started to move
My mind is still locked in the paradise and does not approve
However, I have to forcefully pull my soul
Attach it to the body and start to walk as a whole
Still half hearted to reach my car
The breeze brought me something from far
The lilac and yellow flowers, like a distant hill and the sun at dawn
Landing on my shoulders and alas, my mood is on
Not daring to touch the soft cold petals, Carry them on my shoulder
Going through what just happened, the fact struck me on the face
Startled,
Tears start trickling down,
Oh God,
Is this the way you bless us?
