Raindrops

Are unaware

Of the havoc they cause,

When they lose control,

Making all lives come to a pause,

Willpower overcast,

With smiles and good days

Becoming a thing of the past,

Leaves and twigs bearing witness

To the struggles of millions,

As the earth soaks tears

Shed in vermilion,

Rain, nature's wonder,

At times, breaks all confines

To transform into

A monster,

And devours life, love

And property,

Earning the title of "natural calamity".
