Demon Of The Night

Demon Of The Night

She had a fire inside her,

Her heart was soft like fur.

She was a beauty

But suffered cruelty.

She was broken inside out,

To an extent that she had to doubt,

Whether she was worthy of living

Or her life purpose was only giving!!

She first suffered a lot,

But then she thought

If this was the life she wanted

And looked at the wound that had clotted.

She decided to live proudly with that scar

And escape through the door left ajar.

She became both, sour and sweet;

And made haters touch her feet!!

From beauty, she became a beast;

Her painful journey finally ceased.

Cause of her change they tried to ascertain,

Silently she laughed from behind the curtain.

Alike the sun; she was fiery and bright,

And everyone called her “demon of the night”.
