Dead In The Woods

Dead In The Woods

My head goes numb and heart frozen within,

Tears run through my cheeks, weepin' and weepin',

Broken chairs, no shadows to be found,

That sharp pain rebound.

The taste of uncle's pie yet... I remember,

The colours of memories blend together;

Cannot stop recalling the happy greetings from the past,

But now, am becoming used to the empty streets at last.

Long lost smiles, I found... Burnt in woods,

Playgrounds why turned into graveyards? I understood;

I noticed the peace in the air is swirled,

The globe is hurled with the screams of dis-ease,

Oh! The minds whirled.

A river rushing through my mind,

Is this the end of the mankind?

I wanna ask you if this is all just in my head,

Or just a dream on my bed.

Oh! Just a dream on my bed!!

I wonder;

If this harsh winter could really get over?

Bickerings would never end and prevail over:

Moments will never go hush,

Every second, I'll be happier, contemplating faces' blush.

I wonder;

If this harsh winter could really get over?

Think of the time when we all walk together,

Hand in hand, smiles pretty happier,

Walking towards the real "spring"... together.

Watching the true "spring" blooming,

I wish am getting closer to happiness,

If all these "fragilized thoughts" are dead in the woods.
