The owl said 'Hi'

To my writer

Whose words dance

At nights

The clock ticked

For my artist

Who stays up

To paint stars

The lamp perked up

For the student

Who reads poetry

When daddy sleeps

The blanket melted

For the lovers

Who'd be killed

If seen together

The daylight

Could only be jealous

Of the true love

Night has.
