COMING HOME

COMING HOME

Light years ahead of us, if we see through memory's eyes

I have send my letter through the stars in the sky

Holding my time through tides that come and go by

But I will always find a way to where the milestones lie

Breathe me through love's scent

We are apart but under the same moon

Look for the tantalizing torch of sun of June

I'm sure you'll find my hands in yours soon.

I'm gonna touch the bare grass again

On the tree where the nightingale sings

And we'll glide on the swing where rainbows appear

The clouds will once again curve into imaginary dragons and disappear

Past the brick mountains, past the grownup barrier

I'm coming back home amid this year.
