Blue Night
Blue Night
Awaken to the shining moonlight,
Gleaming upon my sleepy face,
It's the blue full moon midnight,
The moon, it is charming with grace,
I saw through the rectangular window,
My face had a wild, poppy, starry glow.
The lake beneath reflected the moon,
Ripples of water, distorting the image,
Still it felt like Selene swam the lagoon,
Fishes on its back, taking advantage,
Endymion, praising his splashing love,
From the fluffy fairy clouds above.
The galaxy of stars, although shining,
It's tiny sparks were not able to overtake,
The blue tint on the moon's lining,
Stars are sleeping, the blue moon awake,
Winds clapping glitters through moonlit air,
As if the stars were wind, moon still there.
The trees, supposedly lush green,
Seemed black, contradicting the whites,
The brown earth merging with the scene,
Blue moon wavering the turquoise lights,
The golden fish under the lake water,
Shone cobalt, occupying the squatter.
I felt sleepy, after glancing the serendipity,
The bed looking blue without me,
I grabbed the pillow, in a playful hurry,
And slept amongst the celestial company,
The moon whispered through my ears,
" Good Night, sweet dreams, dear . "
