Blossom

The dreamy cherubic eyes

Looks out for you,

To hold his fingers

To support and to balance 

His nimble body 

And the limbs trembling.  

The toothless smile melts the heart

And both, weave dreamy reveries

Of a beautiful fantasy in the

Otherwise, mundane unyielding world.

As time sweeps by

Becomes hard to keep pace

With the firm agile strides.

With a gentle prayer 

Proudly retreat and watch him

Move ahead in leaps and bounds.
