Beware!

Beware!

Beware I feel voiceless but I want you to hear I might stumble but I hope you lend an ear

This is for your caution so that it hurts less when your heart is broken...

When your heart is broken

You have to handle it yourself though

Because no one really cares...

But Beware!

Beware of people who don’t understand

The language of your heart

For they’ll pretend to listen

But for them you only harp

Like the sun may throw as much light on the eyes that can’t see

For the beholder it’s always dark

Beware of people who say they care

Because there is nothing they’ll share

Not your thoughts, not your prayers

Your worries and sorrows

They will leave you stranded

In despair you’ll reach nowhere...

The real faces of people will shatter you

The indifference will break your heart

And you thought the storms scare?

It’s strength that in abundance you need

Because no one really pays any heed

They know they have struck the wrong chords yet

They let you be

To your soul, they don’t reach

Your wounds, they don’t heal...

Beware! Beware of them

They must be your own

But they’ll never walk with you or hold your hands

And no matter what you share with them

They’ll only make it a rubble and give it back

They’ll show you down

Maybe in ways not direct

But that hurts all the more

It’s those people in disguise

Who show they are your own

But In the realm of reality

They never were n they’ll never be

Despite of how sincere and pure you be

Or how close you want to be

Beware! Beware of people who burn your desires in flames

And leave you feeling bereft

Instead of nursing the relation together,

They prefer it to be just left

So, beware ...you!

I caution you

Don’t feel numb later

Thinking you never knew

Because it’s really not the storms that scare.
