Years later,

Wandering on silent roads,

Time, no longer

falsely accused.

Searching for the promise

you broke,

hands abandoned in the darkest crook of memories,

Unknowing once known;

Empty lands were at last

deserted.

You tried to cover,

a wound it was not.

Vaporised trust

into a smog of betrayal.

Truth, was an escapist.

All you had were the lies,

left behind.

Facing the lonely lights,
