Best Friends Forever

Like irreplaceable jewels of a crown

Like the big red nose to a clown

Like the fragrance of a flower

Like the spectacles to the blur.

Each day of my life I think

What would I do without her?

From creepy telepathy

To have the same graphics on our tees

From going places together

To being the best gift-givers.

I have realised how important

A best friend can be.

From being book hoarders

To acting out our favourite avatars

From being the photo bombers

To coincidentally omitting the same chapters

From hating each other

To not being able to live without one another

We've grown up a lot, for sure!
