Battleground

Life is a battleground,

Battle against others,

Battle against competitors,

Easy to tackle,

This all battles,

But hardest battle,

The never ending, hard to handle,

Is battle against myself,

Includes my greed, anger, failures,

Thought I defeated ,but never truly over,

Battle against my thoughts,

Battle for my dreams,

Battle for self-esteem,

Will I ever defeat this?

Or it will always repeat like this?

Should I keep fighting?

Hoping one day I will be winning,

A battleground full of injuries,

A battleground of unknown mysteries...
