Awaiting Your Arrival

Awaiting Your Arrival

Excitedly and anxiously we wait,

For you to make an entry in haste

In to our lives you come dear honey,

As your mother screams in agony

But her labor pains will cease,

And her brow will light up in ease

Seeing your pure and blessed face,

Untouched by reality’s evil race

Each new day will be so fresh,

For us with your charm refresh

Lying so gracefully in a calm,

As you rest in your mothers arm

The joy and delight knows no bound,

With kith and kin in loads abound

This Christmas brings us real feeling,

With a gift of your presence appealing

Oh let this bliss last forever,

Dimming none with each day never

Your innocence and magic in laughter,

Amongst us spread joy hereafter
