At Home in the Library
At Home in the Library
I do not want a throne to sit on and command.
I do not want a green garden full of roses
I do not want the latest phone to talk with my friends
For me not the Luxury Boat to cruise in comfort
Nor do I want that fancy car to show off to my friends
Do I care for a home with the most modern gadgets
Or a sophisticated cabin with modern amenities?
Just give me a single room
With one open window to the breathe fresh air
And the other sides blocking me from the world
But holding its essence in a library of books.
