Another Annus Mirabilis!

Welcoming the unfurling avant-garde,

Stands, yours truly, this saintly bard!

May the deities descend from above,

To hear our melodies of hope and love!

The sober sand trickling with every second, 

So do our minutes hasten to their end.

Soon a dozen chimes will mark the year,

And the radiance of a new star will appear!

Fuming with spirits, joy and elation,

Bring us, O' dieties, a happiness invasion.

May we lay aside our sorrowful regrets

And aspire to be the best of assets!

Yet another year of exuberance in store;

Seasons, festivals, birthdays and more!

Another pristine book with 365 pages,

Marked for memorable moments and collages!

To say it would be great, an understatement it is,

For we shall make it an annus mirabilis!
