After Losing So Many Things

After Losing So Many Things

During different twists and turns of life

After losing so many things..

My childhood, my school days

The warmth of my mother’s lap

My village’s curving muddy roads

Floating paper boats of rainy days

My mother’s rangoli on festivity

All those sour and sugary moments

After losing so many things..

Just left alone in this solitary crowd

Engulfed by loneliness all around

My memories falls apart from me

Like leaves from a shedding tree

My past’s dawn and dusk days

Takes somersault on my unkempt bed

My heart craves for not able to

Make those frozen moments live again

Deep inside me someone speaks out

Can I relive those moments again?

My all-time favourite childhood days

And its honey dipped moments..
