Though I mentioned coffee often.

Not that I wanted to have coffee

But a lot could be done over coffee,

Like catching up

On the years of hope.

That one day you will understand,

Why I look forward to a coffee date.

You never took me for coffee,

I could have paid, dear husband!

You keep no regrets!

Displeasure keeps brewing

Over nothings.
