The box was finally sealed forever

Bursting at the seams with a juvenile past with no rules in sight

Hands lingered on the lock that trapped all my endeavors

I knew it would never open again even with all my might

The box was pushed at the back with utmost pride

As a new one sprung open emitting a radiant future

that implemented certain unseen horizons on the side

An eager mind was sparked once more

Ready to be drunk on this new era and jump into the sea and leave the shore

I would be swimming alongside wealth and responsibilities I was ready to take on

But little did I know this was no beauty con

Relations slowly tore and hard work was no alien

The ungiving world was happy to make us rookies face a rebellion

Fame, success, money or love everything was war

Wanting to dig further into this box was a dream I didn't adore

The closed treasured box rattled tempting me to open it bit by bit

But I knew it'll remain closed even with a deal with the devil

I was permanently stuck with the box that only knew how to rebel
