I just need a hug.

A tight one.

But your absence

Kills my need.

Killed like,

Those power cut

While watching IPL.

Like drenched in

The rain but covered

With raincoat.

Like that last scoop

Of vanilla ice-cream

Being a diabetic.

Like that favourite track

Listening without shaking.

Like those Goa trips,

Always planned and

Never organised.

But sometimes,

I truly need all.

But that hug, a tight one.

Badly missed.

Always needed.

Rarely get.
