A Stranger

A Stranger

When you came, you changed my thoughts,

I saw the beauty of life

Your strangeness gave me courage

Your faith inspired me

Life was unworthy till then

You filled it with joy

The thought that we’ll talk

After sunset about the time spent

Gave hope for a wonderful sunrise

Some of your thoughts wore my shoes

Yet some clashed for space

But now that we are unspoken

Emptiness prevails, only filled with

The words you said,

The phrases you recited, the songs you sung

But somewhere within, this lonely life

Waits to be with you To complete the incomplete with you.
