A School Bench

A school bench, such a normal thing

But this school bench contains a million memories

We used to sit on the last bench and ping

The A/C used to make us freeze

Four of us, laughing and talking in between classes.

We were popular among the masses

It did not matter what we would do in the future

We were young, wild and free

We loved dancing during recess when music was played

On the last day, we scribbled on the door

We will miss this classroom, these benches and especially our teachers
