A Lot Can Happen Over A Coffee

It is beautiful how one can get lucky by chance

With no intention of finding someone

Just out of sheer love for coffee, at the hotel

She sat at the corner, enjoying what's at and

What's coffee without a delicious cookie

Someone said it out loud, and

She turned around to see who he was

He looked so calm, charming but unknown to her

Little did she know, something was planned for her

As they talked, they realized

They lived only a mile apart

They planned to meet every day

To talk about what is bothering her mind

He insisted she should start singing

While he played the guitar

They also cooked delicious foods

To fulfill the craving of heart

They danced, sang, cycled and ran together,

And he always heard her patiently without judgments

It started to heal her and bring her back to life

There was one thing that kept them apart

His decision to not fall in love

It was impossible for her not to cross that line

She was already in love

And all she decided to do "Was to be a friend."

They became terrific friends,

And she was happy

That even after leaving the city

They stayed in touch

And that is how she felt lucky by chance
