A Life-Less Read

The light fades away to darkness,white looses itself to the inky blackness;

The vibrant hues of red blue and green turn to a dull monotone.

The blandness slowly seeps down to the bottom and outdoes the Cheerie colorfulness;

What replaces the earlier vibrancy is a dull quiet sheet of a life so trivial,a soul so lost and two eyes so hollow!

The eyes stand witness to glory long gone, to spring lost to harsh winters,

They witness the monotone snaking its way to the very veins of existence,an existence which stinks of battles lost in the war of principles.

It's a story which has leafed through decades of all colours,

It's a life where love was lost and found In many phases.

A few short breaths to enjoy the zephyr of tranquillity ...to  be replaced  by snatches of the cold north winds.

My readers don't read me through because I'm no author of stature.

My friends don't wait up for me because I'm a mortal lost In the space of nothingness,

My lovers if there were any, don't call up on me because I'm a soul long whipped by the harsh reality!
