A Joyful Kiss
A Joyful Kiss
I wipe my tears and take a step outside,
The joy and zeal are springing within.
Opening the doors of earth and sky,
A bright ray of hope is shining within.
Kindly connected with cosmic creation,
Aware, not anxious with expectation.
No chain of anger or agitation,
No pulsing pain as I sit in meditation.
Touching my wings, the wind is blowing.
The monsoon rain leaves me soaking.
My beloved comes, our paths interlacing,
Who warmly beautifies my body, my being.
I carefully tend the candle of my soul,
My mind and heart can hear my call.
My faith is around like a joyful wreath,
Creation’s kiss I feel when I breathe.
