Pranayama is used to regulate and control breath, similarly thought rules are a way to regulate and control your life and attract things in your life based on your thoughts. The value/quality of your life, your relationships, events is directly related to the quality of your thoughts. You become what you focus on. Therefore, focus on what you want in your life with a clear understanding of thought rules. The senses that you experience everyday tells you of the presence of life force. Sounds tell you about ears, sights tell you about eyes, smells tell you about nose, taste of tells you about tongue, the sense of touch tells you about body. Similarly, Thoughts tell you that you are alive. Therefore, thoughts are the most valuable gift you have received. Try looking at thoughts as an asset instead of a burden or cause of misery. If you consistently focus on all your senses and thoughts, you are bound to experience the self that is behind the body mind mechanism. The purpose of body and mind is to lead you to that experience of self-realization.
