A large part of how we perceive celebrities; especially Bollywood stars is the image they have created of themselves either through their initial work or more importantly what an actor or actress showcases on Social Media platforms like Twitter or Instagram.
As audiences, we are being too narrow in our thought process to base our judgement of their work and maybe not move out of the image we have in mind to appreciate the talent.& contribution each one has made..
This is the major point of discussion on this episode, where we have my cousin Swathi back on the podcast as we pick 4-5 actors/actresses from Bollywood and look at how most of them haven't got their complete recognition as artists, although they might be well known, popular faces.
The reasons vary from actor to actor; and it all boils down to how as audiences we tend to easily pull down or not value someone's overall worth based on the actor's overall package especially in the current times we all are living in, through various OTT platforms we can go back & give the work of the actors/actresses mentioned in this episode another viewing.
Understand, appreciate and value each actor/actresses journey that me & Swathi spoke of and if you don't like their work, move on from them and the fashion or trend of pulling down someone by trolling them across Social media platforms should ideally end, as empathy and compassion towards these artists is something we all can show; even more so now as their movies or web-series is helping keeping us going and making us better in such weird times.
