ASTM International is a 120 year old standards development organization (SDO) and is the first SDO to develop standards for Additive Manufacturing since 2009. With participation of 1000+ members from close to 40 countries in standards development activities within the ASTM Committee F42 on additive manufacturing, 25+ AM standards have been published with another 65+ under development till date.

About Alex Liu
Alex is the Head of Additive Manufacturing Programs, Asia, based in Singapore. With more than 14 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing technologies, he is responsible for ASTM AM Center of Excellence (AM CoE) activities in Asia region. Such activities include the curation of research to standards R&D projects, and dissemination of training programs.
About Khalid Rafi
Khalid Rafi is the Senior Lead for Additive Manufacturing Programs Development at ASTM International. Rafi is responsible for the global AM training programs and certification activities. He is a metallurgist with over 10 years of experience in metal additive manufacturing and contributed to several AM R&D activities and training programs.
