Birthday Gift

   

   On his birth day Ashis received many gifts from his friends. Some friends gifted him dresses or chocolates and some friends books etc. for him. But Prakash being poor did not bring anything for him. He came and went on saying Happy Birthday Ashis. That's why Ashis was very upset with Prakash.

   One day, Ashis was going to college by his bike for the examination. On halfway he ran out of Petrol.There were no shops nearby to buy petrol. It was now less than 20 minutes to attend the exam. Some students passed by him, but due to shortage of time they didn't pay attention to him.

   Now Ashis was in a dilemma; If he leaves the bike there and goes to attend the exam it will be stolen. On the other hand he will be unable to attend the exam if he guards his bike for some more time in the hope of some help. 

   Fortunately Prakash arrived there riding his bi-cycle. As Ashis was upset with Prakash since his birthday party, he hesitated to ask him for help. But Prakash somehow perceived the situation that Ashis is in some type of trouble now. He asked Ashis if he can help him anyway. Ashis told him the issue faced by him. Prakash assured him and told him to wait some minutes. He then immediately rushed to the nearby petrol pump, and brought one litre petrol with his bottle. They both managed to attend the exam in time.

   That day Ashis realised that 'Friend is itself the Best Gift by God' to him.
