Dimensional Difference

It all started when I, Airen went to the park to find an artistic idea for my art project. Suddenly, I saw the sky tearing and a portal begin to open, which was pulling everything inside. I tried to grab on to a tree trunk, but I lost my grip and was pulled into the portal. The portal was blackish and purple and inside were many rocks of different sizes floating. I then saw something strange, I saw a girl who was just like me, like my twin sister. She was being pulled in the opposite direction of mine. Then suddenly I was struck by a rock and I fell unconscious.

When I woke up I was in my bedroom and thought I saw a dream about the portal opening in the park. So, I went down to tell my mother about my dream. "Mumma,Mumma !" I exclaimed, then I explained her my dream, she told me that "All that portal thing you are talking about is not true, yes you did go to the park my sugarcube and since you didnt return home soon we got worried and came in search of you in the park. There we saw you fallen unconscious with people trying to help you. We got you back home and laid you on your bed". "Oh, so may be I fell unconscious and then saw the dream of a portal,which was not true." Then I walked out of the kitchen to the living room and I saw many trophies and medals there,and as far I could recollect I never had them before. I couldn't resist asking Mom whose trophies they were. "Oh! Don't be silly Airen, they are all yours", answered mother. "How is it possible Mom, I can't win all of them right, you know I am an average person, and may be these are all of Bridget's as she is the one who is a topper in the school.", I said.

Then the bell rang. I went to open the door and I found by best friend Bridget at the door. The strange thing was that she was shabbily dressed and looking like a simpleton. "Bridget! what happened to you, why are so badly and awfully dressed." I said. "Oh, Airen what has happened to you why are you so rude." she said and went away crying. I thought I was clearly not well and should go to get some fresh air , and so I moved out of the house and I met Fil he was such a bully, but here he was acting so kind towards me. He saw me and came rushing towards me "Hey! Airen, shall I add five teaspoon of baking powder to make my vinegar solution more fizzy?" "How will I know that?" I answered him with a strange look on my face.

He realised something is wrong with me, he said,"I think you are not well since you are trembling, I will see you tomorrow the, OK Bye". Many strange things happened after that, the people who were rude were being so kind to me. I was lost in my thoughts and I heard someone follow me...it was Bridget ." I knew it, you are the Airen from another dimension" she said. I stared at her with a big question mark on my face. "What? Did you not see the news?" Bridget asked. "Well,no" I said. "OK, atleast one thing is common in between the two Airens, well you see the scientist Tinlinfin was going to open a portal in the park, where you were and so may be you have been pulled to this dimension." she said. "Wait a minute, so you are telling me that I am not in my dimension. Ok so now tell me how to go back to my dimension." I asked worriedly. "Don't worry when Bridget Curri is here." Well yes my BFF's surname is curry with an 'i' at the end Curri. "Scientist Tinlinfin will open the portal right at 7:00 O'Clock and now it is 6:30, till we reach the park it will be 7:00 so lets go" said Bridget.

"But, how will the Airen in my dimension know about this." I said. "Don't worry my Airen is very smart she will know by now." said Bridget. We reached the park right on time and I hugged Bridget goodbye and sneaked into the area where the portal pulls everything into it. Again through the rocky journey of the portal I, met Airen from the other dimension and said goodbye to her as well. I went back to my dimension, and there I saw my friend Bridget waiting for me with a trampoline to catch me and it did work. I landed safely in my own dimension. I learnt a lot about the dimensions and created a painting of my experience. At the end of the day I was so tired that I could barely stay awake until dinner, I fell asleep as I reached on my bed. Well, this dimensional difference made me more confident about myself, got me a new name 'Little Miss Smarty Pants' which I took as a compliment and got me and Bridget an unbreakable friendship.
