Bygone Days And Endless Nights

To the everlasting friendships

reaching magnificent heights,

like a myriad of colours

enveloping the cascades of the classroom.

Noises, shrieks, sounding like raindrops

their fluttering wings amongst

the pitter patter.

Weathering their inhibitions,

moving like seamless waves.

Ambitions soaring high like a rudderless boat,

thoughts without a tarnish of coat,

they tread in to the darkness

with a ray of hope.

Blinded by materialistic pleasure,

scurrying through the tainted glass,

life becomes like a beacon of light,

emanating the sparks in different corners like bait. 

Bereavement begins when I

sail through the age.

No time to reminiscence the

Bygone days.

The arduous journey has begun,

forever and formidably.

A moment to reckon with.

Necessity breaks the barriers of colour, customs and traditions,

brings in a sense of realism, unfolds the truth of life.

Creating a reservoir of knowledge,

awaiting and amassing a

treasure house of enlightenment

separating the nuances of life.

Fortunate are the ones who bask

in the glory of friendship.

If ends were just a beginning,

together we shall harp on a

musical note of immortality,

to revive the elixir of life.
