Just Ashamed To Be A Man

I saw the newspaper, the headlines, the content,
Switched on the television there and then,
'One More!' it said once again,
And I knew what it meant.

My eyes were wide open, at the television I gazed,
What had happened to our nation,
I thought and was really shocked.

I went to the other room,
My sister was sitting there,
I saw in her eyes and immediately ran out.
My eyes were full of tears.
Because of my fears.
If she was her.
I imagined and cried.

She came outside and asked what happened.
I said,"Nothing. Just ashamed to be a man."
