Ode To Burnt Hands

When l was a baby, you became a stand for me.

When l am hungry, you cook food for me.

When l am thirsty ,you get water for me.

When l wanna dress, you iron for me.

When l wanna refresh, you become a comb for me.

When anything stuck, you become a plucker for me.

When l am in need, you become a hammer for me.

When l grew young, you earned for me. 

When its hot, you become a fan for me. 

When it rains, you hold umbrella for me. 

When its cold, you rub yourself and warm me

When I feel shy, you cover my face. 

When I wanna write, you text for me. 

When I am happy, you dance for me.

When I am angry, you become a weapon for me.

When I cry, you wipe my tears.

When its dark, you help me feel. 

When its bright, you become a shed for me.

When I feel pain, you massage for me. 

When its loud, you become a lid for me.

When I wanna sleep, you become a pillow for me.

When I feel sick, you become a thermometer for me. 

When I meet, you shake for me. 

When I pray, you beg for me.

I can't imagine my life without you, thanks for being with me for so many years.
