After Every Ten Years

After Every Ten Years

Every moment the feel of reinventing myself time and again

Having done quite a lot, not once twice or thrice

But every multiple of tens.

The body renews and every cell replaces and multiplies

In their sheer eagerness to create a new me.

From an embryo amid the utter silence of inner sea

Here I am, a matured soul, six inches less to six feet

First ten years from an infant to a child

Where innocence was vivid, nothing was to hide

Another ten from child to youth

Certain things hidden, certain truth

Twice the ten to a matured soul

Here I tasted every kind of a filled bowl

Some were delicious but ,some bitter

Some were cool and some hard hitter.

Until another ten that is yet to be over

Hugged the life with a task a little tough, however

Priorities changed, but with a purpose

And winds now blow with a sound murmurous

Cells are rejuvenating and thoughts no longer strife

Every heart beat , dances on the beats of life

The air, the sounds that were unknown to ears

Now are reinventing me ever n ever.

Oh! That is not the renewal of body, bones, cells or looks

The brain is now playing positive tricks,

The breath, spirit, touch and sight

Send new waves to the soul and heart, so bright

The maturity of the soul with kindness

Transform the heart with newness,

In the surroundings within and outside

With sharp mind and eyes wide.

With thrashing arms and legs scissoring for long hours

Mind gazing beyond skies and mountains

In silence wet, dark, sweet and rocking,

In natures arms a sound murmurs

how did I grow from a fetus

by six inches less to a six feet corpse?

Multiple of tens either of triumph, or protest or ecstasy

Much have I learned, much am carrying with me.

First Ten years of innocence , another ten of youth

Another two tens plus few years to a middle age

Are all stored within a bony ribbed cage.

Another tens of unseen summers

with Unfinished tasks, and dreams yet to be accomplished

Souls yet to be groomed, yet to be polished

Yet to be reinvented, yet to be structured

Besides, my own being yet to be explored.

Here I am with my sincere vow!

To complete my task, and from my “Karma”not to flee

Also, to keep alive the child and youth, within me

To explore my own capability..

To complete my task , I will borrow then

One ten after another ten

From the deities, from the heaven,

Before that last good time

When I will be one with eternity……….
