An Ode To Your Beauty
An Ode To Your Beauty
Sitting in a corner, with your eyes on the ground,
A sheepish smile on your lips, like a sparkle of fate.
The leaves of trees, the wind & all the men turn around,
Quietly whispering, "Have you seen such a beauty, of late?"
'Beauty at its simplest best' is all I can think right now,
Just like God's most beautiful angel sent.
But then you stood up to leave & took a bow,
And my heart just stopped that very moment.
With looks to die for & a shining smile, you could've got whatever you want,
But you chose to keep your head high & grounded feet.
You chose to face your troubles head-on, may how daunt,
Neither revel in victories nor mourn in defeats.
For there are few like you, who believe what heart says is their duty,
And for all of those out there, consider this 'an ode to your beauty'.
