Chaos -The Call of Nature
Chaos -The Call of Nature
Chaos - The call of Nature
All was set for a festival grand – a time for celebration ahead,
But what came down, nobody had foreseen or ever dread.
The torrential deluge when nature takes charge and gives its worst
Washing out a little place - Gods own land quenching its thirst
Gone was a Paradise, a beautiful haven, a pride of the nation
The skies seemed harsh, it roared out loud, creating a commotion
The turbulent winds with thundering clouds and streaks of lightning
Let the wild waters pour, the lakes and rivers overflow was indeed frightening
The Magestic dams could not stop the overpowering surge,
It let the water gush forth , even when help was the cry and the urge
The waters engulfed all that it could, people, belongings, crops and cattle
Nature devoured everything causing a havoc and a crisis to battle
Stranded, hungry, homeless and helpless Men, women and children emerged
Whose unpredictable days of anguish, trouble, worry and concern lurched?
But as a bleak of hope there came many good souls, god sent
For whom call for duty, sending relief and help purely meant
Sharing with others the grief and devastating effect was put to test
When these angels reached out to help and put nagging mouths to rest
Food water, clothes, medical aid and bare essentials and much more,
Help from across the boundaries and other nations outpoured
As the waters recedes its way back into the earth’s soil
There is lot of hard work, rehabilitating, repair and toil
Lots to do and learn from the Chaos caused
When everything else just simply paused
To set the state rolling back cannot happen in a fraction
Its not an easy task, it needs good planning and quick action
So let’s move ahead and pray to the almighty
That life and normalcy is restored
Back to Gods own Country
