My Man
My Man
Each one who has come, one day has to go
But the one who has passed away is my DAD
He was my friend, philosopher and guide
He was the first man in my life I had
He taught me to crawl, to stand, to walk
To bow down, to endure, to smile, to talk
He showed me the path to rise and shine
His love was eternel, his feelings divine
He always asked us to look upto life
To give a helping hand, Not take it in strife
His willingness, his energies, his urges in store
He himself, forever, wanted to do something more
"Expect nothing from anyone in the world", he said
Keep giving, forgiving ,then forgetting and Go Ahead
He personified how to keep doing your part
No matter how much this life gets hard
We have his footprints, his path to follow
Though "He is no more" is difficult to swallow
God! When I'm reborn, I may be born to the same lad
Please be my first man again, PLEASE DAD
