Brought up by people of fame

Have grown far beyond shame

To expose this game.

She is preferred over he

Either as a daughter

A goddess

A homemaker

A help star

Or the significant other.

Concealed under the veil of woman empowerment,

Little girls tend to face vexation;

The suitors of many self acclaimed feminist,

Haven't been reported with any disgraces of assault;

That they shower in the name of affection,

These suitors try and satisfy their ravishment,

In the name of fatherly tenderness;

Innumerable cases have been reported of sexual harassment.

In households chastity of young maidens is plundered,

At times of fulfilling the role of charwoman,

Or as little nieces who have turn up for the weekend,

This is not only the story of dumb-headed

But also the reality of quick-witted.

The time has evolved extensively,

Altering condition of women drastically;

Earlier cases noted were few,

Nowadays they're plentiful,

Some modern women cover the acts of their husbands.

Either in the name of love,

Or to avoid societal pressure,

The world is in need of 'modern woman'

Who can voice against such encroachment

And be able to break shackles of hoax empowerment
